Mission Statement

Our mission is to connect the children to the love of Christ, to let them know that God created them for a purpose and that purpose is to fellowship with Him and have a meaningful relationship. Most importantly, it is our goal that each child will come to know that Christ died for their sins and that His gift of salvation is available to all, regardless of age.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a preschool, daycare or both?
We are a preschool, specializing in setting a strong foundation for learning. Our classes are 2.5 hours in length. At this time, we do not provide childcare.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
Yes, we require children to be independent in the bathroom for all of our programs. We are not licensed to have children in diapers or pull-ups.
My child may have separation anxiety. How will you handle this
We understand children are naturally anxious or uneasy about separating from their parents especially at the beginning of the school year. This is normal behavior and we are well prepared to help with the transition for kids to enter into a school setting. We encourage parents to convey confidence to their children in their ability to be able to manage themselves well in this new experience.
My child has food allergies. How do you handle this?
We are sensitive and vigilant about food allergies. Please make sure you list your child’s allergies on the registration form and let your child’s teacher know as well. We also use the kid check system which alerts our teachers to your child’s allergies.
What if my child is sick or gone on a trip?
First, please let your child’s teacher know if your child will be gone. You are welcome to email your child’s teacher or call our school office (206) 617-6283 and let us know your family’s plans. Secondly, if your child will be gone for an extended period, be sure to inform the teacher and the office of your family’s plans.
What curriculum do you use?
Our Preschool and Kindergarten Prep programs utilize the Abeka curriculum as a base in addition to our teacher created curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and based on monthly themes. All curricular areas are tailored to meet the unique needs of each classroom. Our Kindergarten Prep program operates on a 2-year rotating curriculum so if a child is in Kindergarten Prep for more than one year, he/she will experience new concepts for both years.
Can I schedule a private tour?
